Papyrus Amulet stud earrings

With a direct reference to ancient Egypt these stud earrings have a story to tell.
They are made as silver casts of an ancient Egyptian amulet in the shape of a papyrus plant. This amulet is over 3600 years old and was cut in lapis lazuli, a gemstone much loved and used by the ancient Egyptians. The original papyrus amulet can be seen in the photographs.
 
The silver cast is made with recycled sterling silver.
