1st millennium B.C lapis Lazuli beads in necklace

Ancient Mesopotamian necklace

£350.00Price

This necklace really provides the opportunity to wear History. The ancient lapis lazuli beads are approximately 3.000 years old and originate from western Asia - the area of ancient Mesopotamia. The stones have been cut in a variation of oblong barrel and rhombiod shapes with the size increasing towards the centre. The lapis lazuli displays different hues of blue with white and cream striations and are here combined with smooth green malachite, peridote and raw citrine as all as sterling silver beads in a design that is inspired by ancient Mesopotamian jewellery.

This necklace is one of a kind and a purchase will include a copy of the certificate of originality of the ancient beads.

The necklace as displayed is 58 cm long.
